Hospital and Clinic Affiliations

Our unique consortium of affiliated teaching hospitals and health-care systems offers a wide range of clinical experiences and training opportunities.

Kaleida Health System is the largest health-care provider in Western New York, serving the region’s eight counties with five hospitals and numerous other facilities and services.

Buffalo General Hospital

A 500-bed medical center located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. It offers a wide spectrum of clinical inpatient and outpatient treatment programs.

Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo

The regional center for specialized pediatric and women’s health care. Located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the hospital has achieved national recognition and is ranked among the top 20 pediatric hospitals in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.

Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital

A 189-bed acute care medical center specializing in world-class neurologic and cardiac services. Located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, it also is home to the Diabetes-Endocrinology Center of Western New York as well as numerous other clinical services.

DeGraff Memorial Hospital

A 70-bed community hospital, primarily serving the needs of patients located in the towns north of Buffalo.

Erie County Medical Center

ECMC is a 550-bed medical center and one of the area’s leading health-care providers. It serves as a regional center for trauma, burns, rehabilitation and cardiac care.

Great Lakes Health System of Western New York logo

Great Lakes Health System is a not-for-profit, community-based corporation established in 2008 to provide a new model of health-care delivery for Western New York. The school is a major partner, along with the Kaleida Health System, Erie County Medical Center and the Visiting Nurses Association.

Buffalo VA Medical Center

The VA WNY Healthcare System consists of two health-care facilities, in Buffalo and Batavia. The Buffalo VA Medical Center provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient programs. It is the main referral center for cardiac surgery, cardiology and comprehensive cancer care for central and western New York and northern Pennsylvania. The Batavia facility provides outpatient, geriatric and rehabilitation services. On its grounds are residential units for men and women with post-traumatic stress disorder and a New York State Veterans Home that provides extended care

CHS provides health care at four area hospitals as well as through numerous primary care, diagnostic and treatment centers.

Sisters of Charity Hospital

Buffalo’s first hospital and a Designated Stroke Center, Sisters of Charity Hospital is a Certified Cancer Center and a Bariatric Center of Excellence. It serves thousands of patients each year in its inpatient and outpatient facilities.

Kenmore Mercy Hospital

Kenmore Mercy serves the needs of Buffalo’s northern suburbs, offering the convenience of a community hospital, along with advanced technology. It was recently named a Designated Stroke Center and is one of the nation’s top hospitals for leadership performance improvement.

Mercy Hospital of Buffalo

Mercy Hospital is a Center of Excellence for Stroke and Cardiac Care. It recently revamped emergency department is a model for emergency health-care treatment.

Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus:

This hospital primarily serves residents of the Buffalo suburb of Cheektowaga. The hospital offers the latest advanced technology for emergency medical care.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute

RPCI is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. For more than a century, physician-scientists at RPCI have made fundamental contributions to reduce the cancer burden and to help set the national standards for cancer care, research and education.
