The methodology of simulation instruction is more important than the technology used. In fact, the instructional goals and objectives drive the technology needed to achieve those objectives. The Behling Simulation Center is pleased to offer the following three courses for individuals involved in the use of simulation in healthcare professional education at all levels. These three courses focus on the methodology, providing both the novice and experienced educator a solid framework to build upon. The courses are designed to maximize hands on time, allowing you to put the knowledge into actual practice under the guidance of experienced simulation educators.
This 3 day course will provide participants with a functional methodology to design and provide Immersive Patient Care Management simulation for all levels of learners. This highly inter-active, hands on course will offer a opportunity to understand and practice integrating scenario writing, facilitation, and debriefing techniques using the Framework Based Performance Measure Outcomes System™.
